The doors are automatic, much like any in the galaxy these days. They slide open with a small sound as Alexus gives the command.

Alexus spots a big ol' Krogan looking over a terminal inside. Even from this distance Alexus can tell he's not getting what he wants as the Krogan curses and bangs its fist against a crate.

Even more importantly, the Krogan does not seem to notice Alexus.

Finally, a break.

Alexus Tai's metallic face grins as he enters, closing quickly just to within rang of the Krogan. Raising his Omnitool, he sends a burst of freezing energy towards the alien's back. The way things are going to day, it's unlikely the Krogan wouldn't shoot Alexus on site..

.. besides - the Turian has a better shot at that terminal than that beast does!

Remember. Cryo Blast cannot be done in the same round as you fire. Now, in this situation, without initiatives, its fine. But if we were in turns already, you'd have to use the tech, then fire the next round

Alexus infuses his Omni-Tool and slings the cold particles at the Krogan. Unfortunately, nothing happens as the Krogan's shields shimmer.

The Krogan turns around, spotting Alexus with a roar!

Tai squeezes the trigger on his submachine gun, aiming at the Krogan.

Alexus fires, but misses, the bullet embedding itself into one of the terminals that begins smoking.

The Krogan roars and starts charging toward Alexus. He fires a blast from his shotgun, but Alexus ducks behind the door as the blast would have taken off the Turian's face if he would not have moved.

Shards of metal fly in Tai's face as he narrowly avoids the Krogan's attack. "Close one," he grunts. The Turian again taps something on his Omnitool, spawning a combat drone. He steps back around the corner of the door, removing the Krogan's line of sight.

Action

Move as many squares away from the Krogan so that he won't be able to reach me with a standard move action. Spawn combat drone. Dunno if the drone can fire too? If so, try to stun him or at least damage shields

Alexus runs out the door and onto the path by the destroyed shuttle.

The bluish opaque circle darts forward and slams into the Krogan's shields. There is a massive buzz as the Krogan gives a pained expression on his face, but stops in his tracks ...

Standing his groun, Tai brings his submachine gun to his shoulder, sighting down the barrel and aiming at the Krogan's oversized head. No doubt his attack will only damage his enemy's shields further, but it's satisfying none the less. He squeezes the trigger.

Aim. Fire. Combat drone continues to do its job as well I suppose.

Alexus Tai swings up his sub-machine gun and fires a single shot at the Krogan. The Krogan can't move, and makes it an easy shot for the Turian. The shields evaporate and disappear, the slug blow away some of its heavy armor.

The Combat Drone hits the helpless Krogan against, keeping it held still. The only question becomes is if Alexus can get through the creature's armor before the Combat Drone runs out.

Pleased, Alexus Tai's face contorts into a sardonic smile. He squeezes the trigger again, hoping to blast his way through the Krogan's armor and into the soft flesh beneath.
