"Sorry," says Mei-Li to thug, "I can't let you get up." In other circumstances, she might hesitate to strike a prone foe, but there is little time for niceties now. Instead, she brings her staff down hard, aiming for his already injured arm, hoping to break it and put him out of the fight.
All Out Attack vs. Thug #3, Determined for +4 to hit. Target: Left Arm.
I'm assuming that none of the other thugs are in a position to attack me, being otherwise engaged.

Xun-Wen 6.1, Fang Chou 6, Mei-Li 5.75, Tong Guards 5, Thugs 5
Mei-Li smashes her staff against the thug's arm again, causing him to cry out in pain, but he seems not more incapacitated than he did before ...

TG2: TA: All-Out-Attack/Skull: 11 vs. 12 + 4 - 7 = 9, Fail

The only thug standing turns and swings his club at Xun-Wen. The man is now being double-teamed and in serious trouble. The club head smacks into Xun-Wen's arm, causing pain to rocket through his body ...

Meanwhile, one thug passes out from his injuries, and the other, just smashed by Mei-Li, collects his club off the ground.

Xun-Wen is in a pretty bad shape and almost all his limbs hurt. The only thing he could do would be to fall conscious to the ground and wait for the fight to be over. But he doesn't and he keeps up his feeble attacks.

Despite using the same attacks again, Xun-Wen varies the order. At first he goes foe Fang Chou's neck, with a flat palm but still folded fingers to extend the range of his punch so that it can still connect even if Fang Chou can block the punch. He instantly follows up with his knee aiming for his opponent's midsection to knock the wind out if him.
Commited Attack (Determined): Exotic Hand Strike (w/ left arm. Does that make a difference?).
Commited Attack (Determined): Knee Strike w/ right leg.

Xun-Wen 6.1, Fang Chou 6, Mei-Li 5.75, Tong Guards 5, Thugs 5
Xun-Wen presses, he uses a strange technique, attempting to hit with his knuckles without a fist, but his left handed strike misses. The knee shot looks as though it will land, but Fang Chou spins away at the last moment.
Just an FYI - Yes, it does matter, actually. If you say left/right arm, the left is the off hand, so you will get -4 on that attack. The other will be a full attack with no penalty.

Committed Attack: Determined (Knee Strike): 7 vs. 11 - 3 (Shock) + 2 (Committed) = 10, Success
Dodge: 5, Success
Committed Attack: Determined (Exotic Hand Strike): 12 vs. 11 + 3 = 14, Fail
Fang Chou looks at his minions falling and quips, "Enough of these games, boy." He quickly snatches up a knife from his belt and drives it into the side of Xun-Wen, just above the liver. Both men look down, expecting death, or at least something worse than a scratch. Somehow, someway, Xun-Wen is unharmed as the tip of the dagger barely breaks the skin. A half inch more could have spelled disaster.
Fast-Draw (Knife): 12 vs. 15, Success
TA: Knife/Vitals: 6, Success
Dodge: 10, Fail
Hit Location: Vitals
Dmg: 1 - 1 (DR) = 0
Mei-Li, with Xun-Wen in grave trouble ...

Mei-Li focuses on the thug in front of her, trying to finish him off so she can come to Xun-Wen's aid. She swings her staff again at him again, hoping she can take him down again.
Question on the rules: To break an arm or leg, do I have do a certain amount of damage all in one blow? Or will enough cumulative damage break a limb?

Attack Thug #3
Defense: Parry.

Mei-Li keeps pummeling the man before her, hitting him in the leg this time, causing his eyes to roll back in his head momentarily as he is badly injured ...

TG2: Move & Attack (SW, SW) vs. Fang Chou: 10 vs. 12 - 4 = 8, Fail
Meanwhile, the last standing thug swings down at the stunned man, attempting to knock his head off, but also misses at the poorly placed swing. The man on the ground before Mei-Li can no longer take it, slumping over and passing out from the beating she has put on him.

Another question regarding the used hand: I see that Xun-Wen has a -3 on the right arm. I assume that this makes the roll 'harder'. Is that correct?
So if he uses his left (off-hand) arm it's -4 and his right arm is a -3 because of the damage.
"You're pathetic," Xun-Wen replies coldly. "Your men flee even if you use dirty tricks."

He then takes the initiative again, glad that Fang Chou cannot use a knife or Xun-Wen was just very, very lucky. He repeats he previous pattern and brings up his right hand in a vicious blow. Instead of his earlier attempt to strike with the foreknuckles, Xun-Wen aims to connect the palm with Fang Chou's chin. He quickly follows this attack with a knee strike as before, but this time he only lifts his foot an inch of the ground to feint the same attack and fool Fang Chou to blieve that he's just repeating his previous attacks.
Commited Attack (Determined): Exotic Hand Strike w/ right hand.
Commited Attack (Determined): Feint Knee Strike.

I hope the descriptions of the attacks please you, Tet.

Not necessarily. I'm just keeping track of everything right now. Actually, Xun-Wen hasn't sustained the right sort of damage to have his right arm affected. There is no penalty for his right arm. As for the off-hand, I discovered I've made a booboo. Basically, the Karate skill allows you to use your off-hand with no penalty. If you used two weapons, or something like that, this wouldn't be the case. So I've fudged up a bit. I will try to make it up to you. Feint is still a good thing to use
Xun-Wen strikes quickly, but Fang Chou is just too fast, dodging aside by leaning his body out of the way. When Xun-Wen makes a false move forward, Fang Chou flinches again, unable to gauge if Xun-Wen will throw a real strike, or a fake one.
Committed Attack: Exotic Hand Strike vs. Fang Chou: 10 vs. 11 + 2 = 13, Success
Dodge: 10 vs. 10, Success
Feint:
Committed Attack: 9 vs. 12 + 2 = 14, Success (By 5) vs. 10 vs. 14, Success (By 4)
Feint Succeeds
"You have no tricks, being without skill. We shall see how lucky you are this time."

He kicks, but swings his arm as he does so, and unexpectedly lets the knife fall from his hand. Fang Chou looks exasperated by his failure, even after making fun of Xun-Wen ... His kick misses badly as well.
