Project Majestic: Inception

The pair get to the hotel without incident, staying silent in the gab, as cabbies are notorious gosipmongers, and have a tendency to speak pretty passible English. Fortunately, people on the same plane are likely to take the same cab and share the fare, so no suspicion is raised. With a small pause, the conversation resumes in Arthur's room.

[TetNak]

"I have some contacts. I have called ahead, but didn't give too much information on the phone." Arthur nods, "We should maybe get a meeting, face-to-face, and see what they know about the dig sites, and who is digging."

[Hayabusa]

"A face-to-face meeting is a good idea," Danvers agrees. "I'm trying to meet an old British friend, too, to get some equipment we might need."

[Bitom]

All that remains is for the two men to decide which to do first, or if they should split up.

[TetNak]

"What sort of equipment?" Arthur asks, "We can probably get what we need from the consulate ..."

[Hayabusa]

"I'm afraid we won't get german weapons from the consulate, if we get in a pinch and don't want to let them know who's really watching them," Danvers shrugs. "But the consulate could be helpful for something else. I thought about another small and probably seclduded place, where we could retreat in case we are uncovered. As you know it's best to be prepared for the worst case."

[TetNak]

"Why do we need German weapons?"

Arthur has his sidearm with him that he brought from England. "If not the consulate, if you are looking for weapons, MI-6 has an office here."

[Hayabusa]

"If we end up in a fight and we leave afterwards, I assume we survive the encounter, because I absolutely hate losing, then they could make out that we were British when we use our normal weapons. But if we use german weapons, they can't be sure and doubt is a really important thing in our line of work, right?" Danvers asks after explaining his plan. "I could go to the MI-6 office, but I can't predict their reaction towards an American agent. And I'll try no to waste time if I can."

[TetNak]

"I don't plan on getting in any firefight," Arthur says, "If you want to procure German weapons so bad," he shrugs, "Very well, though, German uniforms could actually be very useful."

[Hayabusa]

"Me neither, but it pays off to be prepared," Danvers replies with a shrug. "And if we use German uniforms, we're going to need them anyway. How fluent is your German and your knowledge of the Nazi hierarchy?"
