Introduction - Vincent Riley

Several new werewolves find themselves in a small valley in the south of Wales, facing learning about what they are, learning to live and work together, and facing threats that lurk just beneath the apparently tranquil setting of the Rhondda Fach valley.Run by Storyteller Donan

The bitch behind him with a bleeding nose grabs him by the throat, snarling. The blood seems to fade away before his very eyes. "You help me, or I'll kill you all."

She slashes him across the throat, slicing down to the bone. Vincent falls to the ground gasping, and then realises he's still on the stage and his throat and shoulder are intact. Moreover, people are staring at him.

"Um, Vince.. yeah, you're out of it mate." Paul offers him a hand up. "Let's get clear of the noise, right? If you've been smoking something, you know we're all in shit."

"Huh? What happened? Where did she go?"

Vince took Paul's hand and quickly got to his feet.

"Did you see her?"

Then Paul's statement gets through to him. "Hey, I ain't on nothin'! A few drinks but nothing else... Someone must've put something in my beer!" He looks around and shakes his head to get things together.

"I serouisly have to get off for a minute or so."

He then heads back to get off the stage.

Paul nods at the band, who try picking up a song to perform to the slightly alarmed audience, but it's made harder with a missing lead member. Believing that Vincent is high or drunk but in no immediate danger he's left to his own devices, the band hoping to redeem themselves.

As he sits there and works on gathering himself he feels a strange itching on his shoulder and throat, where the strange woman attacked him. Hidden in the dark, a thin patch of fur spreads across his skin in those areas.

As Vincent feels the fur spreading from his "wounds" he flies up from the stairstep he sat on nearly panicking. He tries scratching at it and then tries more or less ripping it away while incoherently mumbling things, asking for help, swearing, threathening all mixed together. The world's gone crazy tonight.

The noise behind him becomes painful, screechingly so and feels a strong desire to flee, to find somewhere where he can think about what he's seen, to try and understand it, as well as the way his body twists and distorts.

So he flees. First stumbling and near falling but then he gets his legs to follow his lead and he runs. He runs faster and faster, leaving the lights and the noise. He crosses the parking lot and sees his car, but now the heap of metal and plastic would only slow him down. His own legs and muscles are the only means of transport he can trust.

Fleeing all the artifical noises and sights of civillisation, the wolf flees into the nighttime forests, fleeing the pleading, murderous wolf woman more then anything else and catching constant glimpses of her out of the corner of his eyes.
Please hold for now, you'll be meeting other players soon. :)

The whole world is different, Vincent finds himself curled up in the woods, dried blood on his mouth and no sign of his clothing. He's quite muddy and stiff and as his mind wakes images from last night come back to him.

Hunting rabbits, fleeing the pleading, murderous woman and moving through alien shapes with ease. That knowledge still resides there, that instinctial ability to shapeshift, but the more immediate issues might be exposure.

Strangely enough though, Vincent doesn't feel at all ill or tired from being out in the woods with no protection. His hearing and sense of smell also feel strangely sharp, and he knows the town's about half a mile.. that way.

For a moment he lays still on the ground, determining how bad things are.
Slowly it dawns on him that he actually doesn't feel bad at all, a bit troubled by tghe situation sure, but otherwise he's fine.

He gets to his feet and tries to determine where he is and what he should do now. The guys are probably pissed as hell now, he thinks as he starts walking towards town.

The lack of clothes where a problem but right now he's a bit amazed at how comfortable he is with walking nude through the woods and that his feet find their way so well without any pain from the terrain, rocks, sticks and pine and spruce needles. And the smells! It's absolutely awesome.

He knew he had a pair of track pants and a t-shirt in his locker at the stable. He had some spare keys in there as well, wich was a blessing right now. Luckily things like this, not as wierd but still, had happened before so he was a bit prepared.

So he makes his way towards the stable.

Vincent's search for a source of clothes pays off as he comes across the scent of humans nearby, mixed with laughter. A small campsite comes into view through several trees, though it's really just a single tent with several clothes scattered nearby. The owners of the clothes, a young man and woman, are currently focused on other things and aren't really paying attention to anything except one another.
