Admiral Lex Nehouse
Admiral of the small subfleet sent to Ithro to deal with possible Imperial transgression of the Treaty of Coruscant, Lex Nehouse controls the Republic Command Ship 'Bright Star' and is in charge with communication back to central fleet command on Coruscant. A man in his late years, he has a white beard, white hair, and is balding. He has a reputation for getting the job done and has many years of honorable service under his belt.

Commander Szaras'haw'nuruodo "Shawn"
The Chiss Shawn is the captain of the Hammerhead-class cruiser Icebreaker. Until he got his own command, he was a lieutenant of a Bothan captain, who died during the Sith Offensive in the Minos Cluster.
Being the captain of the ship for almost a year, he puts emphasis on discipline and loyalty. He's always dressed in a black uniform with polished rank insignia and only carries a blaster pistol when leaving the ship.


Lieutenant Commander Lorasz'ann'csapla "Zannc"
Another of only three Chiss aboard the ship, Zannc had been hand-picked by Commander Shawn after he was promoted and put in charge of the cruiser. She's the top graduate from her class on a Galactic Republic academy and serves as the lieutenant since her graduation.


Captain Bruth Woz
The Zabrak leader of a squad of Republic Special Forces is also the head of security of the Icebreaker. He always welcomes visitors aboard the ship and is sent planetside if necessary.

Lieutenant Niub Hovy

A former member of the Republic Starfighter Corps, the Sullustan male, Niub Hovy now leads the squadron of Aurek tactical strikefighter on Commander Shawn's ship. He's also responsible for the three Ministry-class orbital shuttles of the Icebreaker.

Layla Flinn

A friend of Trigo Sloans and somehow 'well connected' on one of the city-ships orbiting Ithor, Layla works at a Cantina Known as the Brass ass. She left Sloan a voice recording several days prior to the skirmish outside the Ithor system, saying that she missed him and not to get mixed up 'in this Hutt business.'

Trigo Sloan

Apparently 'mixed up in Hutt business', Trigo was captured by Commander Shawn and the crew of the Icebreaker after the battle outside the Ithor system. He was the leader of a pirate fighter squadron and, though his knowledge of what motivates the pirate attacks is limited, he may be able to provide clues to someone who would.

Corporal Ray Keyes

Keyes is a human from Coruscant and one of Captain Hovy's subordinates of Galacic Republic Special Forces soldiers. He has been assigned to accompany Padawan Tarak undercover when he investigates the pirates and cover the Jedi if he should get into trouble, since a larger entourage would draw too much attention to the GR envoy.

Mila

Seemingly a Twilek waitress on one of the city-ships orbiting the planet Ithor, Mila let Tarak, Keyes, and the jovial pirate, Trigo Sloan, into an ambush after promising them information regarding the whereabouts of Sloan's friend, Layla Flinn.

After the trap was foiled, Mila defected, promising information on Layla Flinn's capture and other information regarding the recent events over Ithor.

Pursuing an unknown dark presence, Tarak eventually came face to face with a being who he believes to be a Sith. The two dueled briefly and, against all odds, the young Padawan disarmed his opponent. Though she fled, she vowed that they would meet again under different circumstances.

Though this phantom menace escaped the Republic, it does provide Tarak, Keyes, Commander Shawn and the other forces proof that the Sith may be involved in this business on Ithor.

Darth Syrus

Map

Master to Valya Lokhart, Darth Syrus is a Sith Lord of unknown importance. He currently dwells on the city-ship above Ithor in the residential district. There, along with this apprentice, he conducts Sith affairs on the planet, likely through intermediaries so as to disguise Sith involvement in the sector.
