Deathwatch is a roleplaying game in which you take on the role of a member of the Adeptus Astartes the devout, bio-engineered
super-soldiers also known as Space Marines. After many years of exemplary service within your own Chapter, you have been singled out and selected to join one of the most unique and specialised groups of Space Marines -- the Deathwatch. Only exceptional candidates from the fighting forces of the Adeptus Astartes are invited to join the mysterious Deathwatch and take on a new oath to safeguard the Imperium from the darkest of threats. You are called into service to hunt down and destroy hostile xenos forces, to seek out and crush the root of heresy and sedition, and to continually fight against the foul daemon menace that crawls forth hungrily from beyond the Warp. You are at the forefront of Mankind's war for survival against an extremely hostile universe. Along with the other players, you form a Kill-team of Deathwatch Space Marines but the challenges you face are not all external. Gregor and Elyas press the attack. Gregor moves into position and fires off a bolt round, strinking the Broodlord and wounding it slightly. It hardly seems to slow it down.
Elyas, half blind screams out, "For the Angels, The Emperor and Mankind!!!!", igniting his jump pack and screaming forwards. His powerfist never connects as the Broodlord sidesteps the marine and attacks. Three claws slice at Elyas, ending his life in a shower of blood and gore. THe Broodlord lifts whats left of the assault marine and tosses it back at the killteam like garbage, an almost alien laughter coming from it's mouth.
Sepheran and Octavius act....

Reckless fool. Sepheren shakes his head as Elyas indicator winks out on his HUD. "For duty to the Emperor and for vengence for our battle brother." Finally his weapon comes to life against the broodlord. It rains fire down at the enemy beltching death and spewing righteous fury at the xeno. The barrel turns red as Sepheren never let's the trigger up.

Still dazed from the strike by the Broodlord, Octavius sight is hazed and he has some difficulties to stay on his feets. But his duty on this planet isn't finished until this Xeno is dropped dead. He pulls himself together and sents a short prayer to the emperor. Starched by his prayer he regains his strenght and roars at the xeno.
"By Roboute Guillaumes I will not fail"
He finds the trigger of his Astartes Shotgun and unleashes the wraith of this holy weapon.
take Shotgun and shoot as many times as possible. use an fate point if missed or jammed weapon.

Sepheran and Octavius rally to the loss of one of there own, possibly even the loss of Elyas' gene seed! The Devastaor marine opens up, his heavy bolter raining death on the Broodlord, punching dinner plate sized holes all over the beast. It stumbles back under the force of the onslaught and bleeds out gallons on Xeon blood as Sepheran puts a hurt on it that it may never recover from.
Octavius opens fire with his Astartes shotgun, putting two rounds of scatter shot into the beast.most of it is shrugged off as the buckshot has little penetration, but a handful of pellets find a weak spot and blow out another chunk of Broodlord flesh.
Skold, Gregor and Lucian act...

Gregor holds hope to recovering Elyas's geneseed but he must first purge this xenos. His armored gauntlet grabs a krak grenade from his stash after seeing Sepheram's volley stagger the mighty beast. Servos whine as his arm throws the grenade.
Gregor tears a smooth sided grenade from his belt and punches the priming stud. He tosses the bomb with pinpoint accuracy and it detonates among the Broodlord's flailing arms. The shape charge tears thought the chitin and erupts a geyser of molten metal into the xenos' body, burning away flesh and i nor. The beast sags from the wound and is nearly finished!
Skold and Lucian attack...

Skold plants his feet and opens fire on full automatic sending a volley of rounds towards the Broodlord. As he fires, the Space Wolf begins to snarl and howl watching the boltgun fire away at the Broodlord.

Brother Skold screams words of prayer to the All-Father, jamming his armored finger on his blotguns trigger. He unleashes a hailstorm of bolter rounds that tear the Broodlord to pieces, leaving it all but half dead when the smoke clears.
Apothecary Lucian gives a cry and leaps at the beast, the crackling lade of his scythe coming down on the Broodlord's head like a power maul. The blade cleaves skull and brain, and the Broodlord falls back with one final scream, a death wail. The most powerful psychic backlash known, a Mortis Call. It rips through your minds threatening to tear away your very psychi, but in the end, you training and Faith in the Emperor prevail.
Across the city, humans tainted with the gene stealer strain fall to the ground and die in droves, screaming and bleeding out their eyes from the Mortis Call. But others fight on and the PDF continues to clear the streets and building one by one. The battle is somewhat over, but the fighting continues. You've earned a bit of breathing room.
Looking through the ruins of the nest, you find the remains of the Inquistorial and her notes. Leafing through them, you get the idea that the Broodlords coming here was not a mistake or random occurrence, but the machinist ions of a third party. Who that is and why are for another time. The city is safe for tonight...
