Ghost quickly sends another light blast towards Shinichi and this time, it catches him by surprise. The flash of light blinds him as he throws his hand in front of his face, but a few seconds too late.
Ghost, Ninja 1 - 9, Kenjiro, Shinichi
Three ninja circle Shinichi to protect him from further blasts as the other six move to attack. Three of the ninja move quickly to attack the visible target Kenjiro. They surround him on three sides and begin to strike with their weapons.

The first ninja to attack Kenjiro slashes his katana a bit too son and Kenjiro is able to dodge the attack. However, the next two ninja both land glancing hits against him. Kenjiro's body armor absorbed much of the wound leaving him mostly unharmed but outnumbered and surrounded for the moment.

The other three ninja break off and move towards the unseen assailant. They cannot see him, but it appears it's not the first time the Scorpion Ninja horde has faced off against an invisible presence.

The three ninja reach into their armor and pull out shuriken. They each take a vector and throw their shuriken hoping to strike the unseen ally. The first shuriken comes extremely close to Ghost almost striking him, but he's able to quickly move out of the way. The last two shuriken completely miss Gregory.

Ghost, invisible, decides to give the surrounding ninjas even more problems without affecting his ally.

A white-hot searing light sparks to life in a sudden burst from his body, attempting to blind all those around him.

The three ninja surrounding Kenjiro move at once against him. With their katana slashing in three directions towards him, Kenjiro is only able to dodge two of their blades. The third cuts a wound on his side and leaves him a bit stunned for the moment.

Two of the ninja surrounding Ghost repeat their attacks. Brandishing more shuriken, they fire towards where the last blasts of light originated from. The first shuriken flies close, but not close enough to hit. The next one hits Gregory in the leg tearing through his pants and causing his leg to bleed. He's caught off guard for the moment.

The three remaining ninja guards continue to protect their master. It seems that the tide of battle is turning in favor of Shinichi's horde.

Kenjiro's assailants continue their attacks, but the stunned swordsman is able to dodge their attacks for now. It's only a matter of minutes before he's wounds overtake him and he falls to a ninja blade, if he can't push through these minions.

The two ninja who can still see, but maybe not see exactly where Ghost is at fire with another round of shuriken. The first ninja who seems to be having a problem misses Ghost, but the second one lands a solid hit on Ghost. Gregory quickly checks himself, and he discovers that he's been lucky this time. The shuriken impaled itself into a padded section of his clothing and didn't pierce through into his skin.

Kenjiro focuses his mind and channels it into his blade. With three attackers, he's a bit overwhelmed, but he leans in and goes full force at one of the ninjas as he maneuvers away. His attacks land two strikes against a ninja and it turns to black smoke and dissolves into nothing, much like the other ninja who guarded the entrance. One ninja gone and only eight more to go and of course, there's Shinichi to worry about.

Ghost again attempts to blind those around him. A radiant light flashes all around him, even though his body is obscured from sight. He hopes that this will prevent him from being harmed, and give them the upper hand against the ninjas.

Ghost fires another flashbang burst attack affect six of the ninja. Two of the six are able to dodge the attack, but the remaining four become blinded. Gregory has provided ample power to assist Kenjiro, but it appears Kenjiro might still be overwhelmed by the ninja horde.

Kinjiro turns in time to avoid the flashbang burst and when he circles back with his blade, he cuts through one of the ninja turning it into the magical black mist that slowly fades away.

With only three ninja not blinded, the one attacking the invisible Ghost steps back to defend their master, Shinichi who's still cursing at the pair. "You won't get away with this! I shall have my revenge!" It appears that the three remaining, non-blinded ninjas are all clustered around their master and would make an easy target for Ghost, but...

One of the ninja throws down a smoke grenade which renders the ninja and their master some form of concealment for the time being.

He raises his hand and shoots a beam from it, aimed at the ninja in front of Shinichi, hoping to clear a path from his brother.

miss, but with homing power mod, this means the attack is now circling back and will try to hit next round at your turn (only requires a free action to maintain power, so you can attack/move as normal next round, too), don't let me forget about the homing attack :)
Ghost shouts a warning to Kenjiro, the Iron Scorpion, and a beam of light comes out of his hand and shoots towards the ninja directly in front of Shinichi, the leader of the Scorpion Horde and possessor of the Scorpion Claw artifact. The Ninja deftly avoids the attack, but then the beam does something quite remarkable - rather than continue it's trajectory, the bright light beam curves around and circles back towards the ninja.

At Gregory's call, Kenjiro quickly moves out of the way of the blinded ninja who were attacking him and runs towards his brother. With three ninja still guarding Shinichi, the two are still outnumbered, but they've shown themselves to not be overmatched with the ninja horde.

Kenjiro lunges his Scorpion Blade towards the ninja who avoided the Ghost's light beam and lands a near critical strike. The ninja is hurt bad and maybe Ghost's lingering light beam might be able to finish him off if it can land on it's second attempt.

The two remaining ninja move quick on Kenjiro and surround him. They hope to finish him off then turn their attention to the invisible friend. The first ninja swoops in from Kenjiro's left and fails to land a blow, but his breathern ninja takes advantage of Kenjiro's dodge and lands a solid hit slashing open a wound on the swordsman's shoulder and knocking the wind out of him for a moment.

Meanwhile, outside their friends fight against the hundreds of lesser ninja. Not quite as powerful as these elite ninja, but those ninja like the ones here greatly out number the other heroes.

I'm going to take for granted that you'll enable your free action to continue the light beam to circle back and attack vs the ninja, at least now he's wounded a bit and lower defense, so it should be easier to hit.

Ghost's homing light beam circles back around and hits the already stunned and staggered front guard ninja. Kenjiro's strike had made him vulnerable and now the returning light missile easily lands and finishes him. The ninja turns into a black mist and evaporates.
