The Gilded Petal Tea House

A well appointed private garden complete with biwa player. The ideal place to discuss strategy, character development, and group goals.

Hayabusa mentioned playing a Scorpion bushi, which I have no problem with.
V also expressed an interest in a Scorpion character.

I'm thinking about actually budging from my standard Clan choice (All Crab, All The Time), or at least from my usual choice of class (Shugenja). Sure, we're starting in a court setting, but would there be much use for a Courtier in your planned campaign? Sure, talkity-talk is always useful in Rokugan, but if you keep us out hunting Oni or something out in the boonies the entire time, talkity-talk isn't very useful, while holy fire really is.

The plan is for there to be ample opportunity for both talking and burning, though Lost and Bloodspeakers are more likely than Oni. Not all your possible foes will let themselves be beaten with a sword though.

We should all play Scorpion! Even if MWD's Scorpion is pretending to be a Crab :) Shosuro Actor!

Let's all be the same clan. We NEVER have had a game like that, and it could be fun. The Scorpion have a ton of options too, Acts, Ninja, Yogo Shugenja, Soshi Courtiers, Bayushi Kensai, I mean they have alot of great good guy and bad guy options for a group to be.

Tet, there's always those Dragon Monk(ie)s you mentioned :P. Seriously, it's wide open right now, With only one "role" taken, pretty much anything you want. Whatever's interesting would be my suggestion.

*laugh* What, you want us all to be members of the Kuroiban? That'd be pretty sweet.
