Discussion, Brainstorming, and Debate

Post by Deadman » Fri Feb 15, 2008 3:01 am

Here's a thread just to put proposals up for discussion before formally submitting them to a vote, debate current proposals, and whatnot. This thread will not be locked.

Much as the stickies of current proposals can be helpful...the fact that we can't all sticky makes it sort of misleading. For example as I make this post there is a closed proposal still stickied, and a new open proposal down in the normal section.

I think we can make all founds, Moderators of this forum, allowing them to edit, sticky, unsticky, etc posts. Which will help with general care and clean up of the forum.

...that's harsh Var. From what I've seen Bit and I are the only only non-founders playing currently. And Bit's a site admin....

So what you saying is make everyone but me a moderator : P

Well, what I did was make it so the Moderator group should be able to edit and sticky and stuff. This includes the founders, and I'll add you since, I thought you were, but you aren't, no harm in letting you help keep things cleaned up nice.

Honestly the only reason I can see we wouldn't want you doing it, is because of that incident with you, the gerbils and the jar of strawberry jelly last months, but I'm willing to over look it.

I like amending the title from "Proposal" to "Failed" if the proposal fails. How about we amend the title from "Proposal" to "Passed" if it passes. That'll make it much easier to scan down the old rules.

Sure thing with me. The last person to post could also change their subject to Passed or Failed.
