mackaber had an interesting point. What did you guys want your standard marching order(s) to be? Use alphabetical order for designing them plz.

A) Anric
B) Delphane
C) Elena
D) Indrazor
E) Takeo
F) Variel

Examples of the 3 main orders would be:

Single File
D-A-C-B-F-E

Double Rank
DA-CB-FE

Three by Two Formation
DCA-FBE

My two cents

Side by side columns of three...

A(Big combat beastly beast) F (Open doors, detect/disarm traps)
E (Make hulk grow and smash) C (Healer now adjacent to everyone)
B D(Rear guard)

Takeo is E, Delphane (B) has the Enlarge Person spell.

Anyone else thoughts?

Swap E for B is my suggestion as exposing the primary caster is not agood idea.

Anric - Front Line Fighter Type
Takeo - Front Line Fighter Type
Variel - Front Line Fighter Type ?

Delphane - Spellcaster
Elena - Rogue


So I say just keep the the front top heavy with fighter types. We only need 1 rear guard, reall how often are we jumped from behind in any game? A archer fighter type can take up the rear, and put rogue then spellcaster in the middle.

I like it. How about

Anric - Takeo
Delphane - Indrazor
Variel - Elena

for two abreast? Indrazor can lead with a spell while Anric and Takeo advance, then he can join. (Takeo and Indrazor can swap if they like) The caster is in the middle, and our rear guard includes the archer and the rogue, who's presumably fleet of foot.

I think Variel should be further up front to make it easier for him to move into flanking position.
