Drakkar: The Soulless Land.

Drakkar is the northern most of all of Uruadum. A desolate vale north of the Caran Mountains which reaches to the plains of Rogothain. Here the worst of Raughir has taken its toll. The land is bleak and dark, destroyed more than four hundred years ago in the Great War of Shadows. Once the mighty cities of Carnac and Aduunwath stood as strongholds in the nations of Caldera and Rathain, but they fell long ago to the power of shadows.

At the end of the Great War Raughir feld south over the mountains to his citadel of Alakkgurth but his servants remained in hiding in this bleak region.

Drakkar Part Two: Vale of Darkness.

In recent times the ruins of Drakkar have been rebuilt, and the Grunling hordes of the mountains have taken root in the fortress of Durcarrack at the mountain's feet. Men of many nations have come to the city of lies, to Carnac, not knowing that Raughir's servants still hold much of it under their sway.

Here is the home of the Drakkloth, the children of Raughir. Made from his power they are terrible and wonderful beyond all other races.

Aduunwath

Post by Vardaen » Thu Dec 01, 2005 5:29 am

The Aduunwath region lies in Western Drakkar, about two days from Carnac. The city was once a southern outpost of the Rathain nation, thriving and prosperous in its heyday. Since its destruction by the Drakkarians in the Great War, it fell into ruin. Vile swamps and treacherous mountains surround it, and mammoth ogres and stealthy trolls gathered within its crumbling walls to make it their home. For many long years nothing else lived within miles, as the place slowly sank into a morass of pestilence and evil creatures. Then began the long awakening of Drakkar, and its slow return to power in the north...

Some years after the first creation of the Drakkloth by Raughir, a decision was made in the high dark courts of the Demon Lord to begin the return to the North. It was to be slow and gradual...unnoticed by the outside world. Grunlings, under the command of Drakkloth Captains, began to return to the ruins of Aduunwath, secretly to begin the task of its rebuilding.
