In the Middle of the Hoboken Cemetery
Approximately 47 degrees Fahrenheit, Very Steady Breeze and Cloudy
The wind whips about our heroes wildly as they stand gathered amidst the headstones and mausoleums of the Hoboken Cemetery. Two hideous-looking statuesque figures (Kongo & Ghede) stand silently rigid beneath the muddled darkness and moonlight. Having been rendered inert by Mr. Han's magic, the two villains now wait motionless for our heroes to begin with their ritual.
An eerie silence befalls the cemetery, the proverbial clock striking midnight and prompting Mr. Han into motion. The elderly man carefully strikes the side of a small singing bowl placed upon one of the headstones beside him and proceeds to chant and murmur the spell needed to initiate the ritual. As his chanting continues, a wispy fog-like substance begins to climb its way from beneath the earth and settles around and upon Mr. Han's tiny frame.
The woman's eyes widen with disbelief as the powerful magic sent her way racks her voluptuous frame with a most sudden and unusual sensation. Nearly overwhelmed at first, the clever sorceress collects her wits about her and begins to chant as well as the preternatural power courses through her veins. The whispering sounds of a thousand voices are soon heard coming from about the graveyard as Esmeralda shapes the raw power sent to her into a more manageable manner of a spell-component.
In time, the echoing whispers slowly gain magnitude in volume, some of which even managing to transform themselves into the violent howls and cries of vengeance - vengeance from those whom were sent here to the graveyard by the gang Sex, Money, Murder and its two currently hapless leaders.
A spine-chilling rattling sound is eventually heard, not unlike that of a rattlesnake or pair of maracas being shaken from out of nowhere, its own tune and rhythm conjoining the already present chorus of gathered souls. Before long, the two helpless villains (Kongo & Ghede) are outlined in the shimmering of a dark and murky magic; its form and shape resembling that of two serpentine-like figures coiling themselves about them. It is here that Count Tenebrous enters with his part of the ritual.
The good Count beckons Lady Esmeralda to sway the flow of energy unto his direction. Complying with the mage's wishes, Esmeralda does so. The Count then musters forth all his might and sends the harnessed power of the gathered spirits towards the direction of the two spectral serpents. Lashing out violently, the two Dark Loa struggle and fight to resist the three wizards' combined power; their gigantic heads snapping out towards the spell upon several occasions. Ultimately however, they can not and the two spirits are blasted into oblivion by a barrage of harnessed souls.
Kongo and Ghede sweat profusely, their eyes widening with fear and anguish as Mr. Han's ritual works like it is supposed to. With the two Dark Loa now banished and removed from their bodies the two villains are bathed in a blinding show of light, their unholy powers being stripped away by the process. When all is said and done, the two men once more resemble their normal selves and collapse powerlessly to the ground; as do the three wizards.
The ritual has been completed and was a success!
