Wasn't trying to just take the board. Was trying to knock the board into him. In an effort to get his blood on it...
"Damn, this ain't no teenager!", Fred growls...

"Get out of my boy, whatever you are!" shouts John, shocked at the inexplicable flight of the Ouija board to his son's hand.
John grabs for his son's wrist, even if it's likely to get him thrown across his own kitchen.
Action
John makes a grab for Jason's wrist on the hand holding the Ouija board... wish me luck

The blood is incidental. There's enough of it flying around at this point that it won't be a problem to acquire
John: Str+Brawl-defense(-1 defense as this is the second attack this round) Reduces pool to 0, chance roll: 2 fail.

The professor sighs seeing the scrum in front of him. He has no other choice than to try to get the board free. "Dammit," he grunts, moving forward and tries to grab the board himself.

Initiative
Yalocan Tumulu 15 , Jason 12, Tom 11, Fred 9, John 8, Vincent 7, Sam 5
Sam grabs for the board, but the Jason (Or Yalocan, if you prefer) evades the attempt.
Yalocan can see he's outnumbered, but he has to get free of Fred before he can go further, but he can't seem to overpower the contractor and get the board free.
Roll
Sam: Str+brawl (untrained): 1 die + WP = 4
Rolled: 4 dice:
2, 1, 6, 1
0 successes. Fail!
Yalocan Str: Rolled: 2 dice:
1, 5
0 successes. Fail!
no need for Fred to roll Str.
OK, this is getting ridiculous. So I'm giving everyone one dot in brawl right now. You've been using it all over the place, and now you've learned. Those who already had a brawl dot get 3 XP instead, which can be spent at the end of the chapter.
Tom continues down the street to talk to Lily.

"Not today you spectral leprechaun!", Fred roars. His biceps condense and he pulls at the board visciously...

Yalocan Tumulu 15, Jason 12, Tom 11, Fred 9 , John 8, Vincent 7, Sam 5
Jason's force of will seems to have no effect, at least none that he can identify, but it doesn't seem to matter as Fred rips the board from his hand anyway. The struggle has splattered Jason's blood from his split lip all over the kitchen and its occupants, including the board itself.
