Mission One: Safety Violation

"I'd love to see your spread sheets," Crow says with a returning smile. "And you're right, the others would have little interest in that sort of thing. I'm the numbers guy anyway." He looks back at his fellow runners. "Why don't you guys get some early shut-eye. I'll take care of the paperwork myself. No need everyone staying up to make sure that everything's ship-shape with the documents."

Crow is willing to take this hit for the team.

He can give the documents his blessing in record time to leave the rest of the 'hour or two' open for other activities. But he'll definitely return to their rooms at the end of that time 'for the sake of appearances.'

Okay, you've got an hour or two while the administrator will be busy. Use it well. And Crow will be back to give magical support in a couple of hours. Feel free to ignore the grin on his face.

Point does not roll her eyes in annoyance. They all play a part to do the job and so Crow does though she does not like the idea that the latest addition is the first one gone again. Besides, Maeng is not the problem but Yong is.

"Very well," Point replies. "Though I hope you don't mix pleasure with too much business. Let's leave the two to each other. Where will we stay?" The Japanese woman asks the two remaining men.

As Crow and Maeng leave, Leviathan says, "Well, we should make sure everything is order before turning in, to make sure we're ready to start first thing in the morning." Once the people outside the team have left, Leviathan continues, "Do we want to do any reconnaissance tonight? It may be the best time, but it sounds like Yong has his security out and their fingers may be quick on the trigger. It could be easier to do what we need to do under cover of safety inspections. The only problem then is that Maeng and Yong will most likely be watching us." He turns to their hacker. "Lyssa, can you hack into their local network from here? See if you can find out anything useful? Maybe you can find their usual night-time security protocols?"

Gun looks to Leviathan and answers him, "I think that is unwise. If we are seen sneaking around at night, our cover is completely shot. We should do it while we're faking the inspections." His eyes move from Leviathan to Lyssa, as being able to get into their system might prove extremely helpful.

"two hours may be a bit short, but I will see what I can do."

Lyssa first flips open the account she has in the Eastern Tiger node and peruses through the information already mined to learn what she can. What sort of IC and other defensive measures the rig has is of particular interest, as would a way to get into the system through that node. Perhaps ET would like to be able to monitor -and possibly control- the rig remotely?

"We can't do any recon while we're under close watch, nor fulfill our task," Point replies. "And wasting seven hours... Iie, that's not gonna happen. If you want to spend the time in a bunk, alright," the woman shrugs, looking to her half-brother. "Yes, I want to do some reconnaissance."

[Muskrat]

"I agree we don't want to be caught sneaking around," says Leviathan to Gun, "which is why I asked Lyssa if she could find anything out about the security operations at night here. Though if we wait for Crow to come back before do any reconnaissance, he may be able to spin a convincing story about us just being overzealous in our inspections. Look how he got that Maeng woman into bed without even trying."

[Hayabusa]

"Why, did father never tell you? 虎穴に入らずんば虎子を得ず。" Point says with a smirk. "I don't intend to even be spotted and we'll have to do this sooner or later anyway. And I like sooner." Point turns to leave, her mind set, going to their temporary accomodations on the platform. Then she speaks louder to the two left men from the security team. "Annyeong guys. Where can someone take a smoke after hours in a cramped chopper."

Leviathan sighs and gets up to follow his sister. He thinks this is a bad idea, that they should wait until Lyssa can tell them something about the rig's nighttime security, but he can't just let her go off on her own. "Mind if I tag along?" he asks her in Japanese, as she talks to the two security guards. The implicit question is if she intends to carry out the recon mission alone or would like back-up from someone a little less stealthy.

"Do not worry," Point replies with a genuine smile. Something she rarely does to anyone else but Leviathan. Her intentions are not to jump into the shadows just yet. "I do not intend to overstep anything. We're here to do a job and I am not jeopardizing my employment. I'm just going to take a small look around, have a smoke. I'm going to stretch my legs a bit and not dive off the platform."
