Day 63: The Frying Pan: Death of the Commander
"Aye! Just take the dive," Aya shouts, not eager to stay for long. However, she intentionally keeps her hat, puts it over the face of the dead Commander and does a quick check of the man's pockets before rushing just back the way they came and doesn't bother to climb down again but simply dives into the water below.

Day 63: The Frying Pan: Death of the Commander
Gragol, still hurting from nearly dieing, just plops over the railing and into the water. He uses his newly acquired eye patch and his hands and feet become webbed.

Day 63: Into the Fire
Gragol flails out the window and lands with an awkward splash even as his hands and feet (and boots) form into flippers. He dives under the waves swimming with the skill of a fish.
*SPLASH*
*SPLORP*
*SPLOOSH*
One by one you leap from the ship into the harbor and start for the coast. As you leap over board there are shouts on the deck and marines rush to the railing and start shooting crossbows out into the harbor at you. A few whiz over your heads early, from the marines poking out of the windows. Maggie is forced to almost surface and few bolt splash down in the water near to her, but still far enough to not hit her. You swim for it, and eventually reach the shore along the west of the harbor.
You can now see however all the lights on the Dominator are turning on, and they are starting to load mean into the longboats to launch them into the harbor. You must get back to The Banshee, and quick!

Day 63: Into the Fire
Grinning from ear to ear, Aya drags herself ashore, ready to continue to run to the Banshee. "Well, they certainly know something happened. Better get some wind in our sails and be off as quick as we can," the young kitsune says, having stashed just the two items in her belt and a soaked through hat in her hand. "C'mon, let's get aboard and be gone!"

Day 63: Into the Fire
Toruk weaves his way through the depths of the water leaving no trail for the rain of crossbow bolts to follow. Being able to see in the dark as well as breathe under water has its advantages. Surfacing near the Banshee, the Undine waits for the others to arrive before boarding.

Day 63: Into the Fire
Maggie pulls herself back onto shore with a smile on her face. For all that this was a race against time, she seems to have enjoyed it. She doesn't get a chance to really swim much anymore and despite the dire circumstances, the long swim was fun.
But time to dwell on that later. For now, it's a matter of getting to the ship and then getting the ship out of the river and back onto the open sea as quickly as possible.

Day 63: Into the Fire
Before jumping, Rod has also unfastened his magical grappling hook and only then jumped down into the dark water. Coming out of the water at the shore, he helps the others and grins wickedly. "Ok, let us hurry, we need to get the ship moving..."

Day 63: Into the Fire
Gragol, still seriously wounded, manages to get to shore but is exhausted and his wounds reopening from the effort. Toruk is half way up the ship before the group lands, but you manage to reach the ship and make it up the rope ladders. Rod and Aya are not far behind and you are making your way onto the Banshee as your crew is giving order already to set sail down the river and out into the mouth of the bay.
