Then the man before Gragol tries to push him back and off the stairs himself. That doesn't go good, Gragol swings at him, misses, but puts him off balance and the two don't move or give an inch either way. The rest of the buccaneers from the first boat have shortbows in hand and fire up at Gragol. Two on the stairs shoot over at Roderick. Most of the arrows are high, or short, or strike the stone railing. However two get past everything, against the odds, and Gragol is hit two times in the shoulder with arrows! He looks like a pin cushion, but he's in good spirits and alright health.
Roderick, Toruk, the Tidewater Guards, and Aya...

"There's lots of them!" Rod says. "We need to get back into the tower. There we can kill them one by one. Gragol, Maggie, let's move back! We're gonna be pincushions if we stay out here much longer! I'll try and cover you! Maggie, you might shoot the painted bitch, I hope she doesn't cause trouble for Toruk." With that, Rod steps just a bit south, and then activates his cutlass. The blade shoots a gust of water at the closest foe, hopefully pushing him down, making him and his companions fall down. Then he is ready to parry and attack any who come his way!

Toruk continues with singular focus on the flying caster. He conjures up three more magical orbs and hurls them through the air.
Number Two: "You are number six."
Number Six: "I am not a number, I am a free man!"
Number Two: "Muh ha ha ha ha!"

Mass Combat: Round 4
Toruk holds his ground, and three more watery orbs slam into Isabella Inkskin. She is showing marks on her flesh now, and she sneers, "Oh you will pay if you messed up any of my tats!" She is about to say more when a spear from a ballista clips her in the leg. She is spun around and her leg is bleeding, her magical protection unable to keep her safe from all harm.
Your guards are doing what they can, a second ballista and a short bow fire at her, but miss, while down stairs the man is ready for an attack. That's when Royster arrives on the ground floor, and one more guard appears at the tower's top.
Aya, still singing her sea shanty keeps you feeling good as she readies her pistol, "I can coat the doorway with grease and glitter! Once you are clear, or heal you if you are hurt!"
Isabella, shifts a bit, and then puts a lightning bolt into Toruk who hasn't moved in a few moments. He can't dodge lightning and is nearly slain from the blast of magical power! Shocked, burnt, and outmatched, he tries to catch his breath but his lungs burn from the static in the air around round him, "Ahahahahaha!" She just laughs.
Below and behind her the men from the second boat are now starting to scale the cliffs, little by little, up the knotted ropes, and up the rough rock wall.
Gragol, and Maggie...

"Aye! Nice hit Roderick!" The Dwarf seems amused by Rod's spell and backs up into the tower. He waits for the next victims to climb the stairs.

Maggie takes a shot at the hovering sorceress from the doorway, and then pulls back to make room for Rod to retreat back to the safety of the rock. "Some grease on th' stairs'd be a treat fer the attackers, tis true," she observes.

Mass Combat: Round 4
Maggie looks up and fires at the feet of the flying woman. Its a long shot, but Maggie clips the tail end up Isabella with her pistol shot, but the bullet deflects off the woman's protections. Still, its chipping away at her spell power that surrounds her. Them Maggie retreats back inside.
The pirates from the first ship press. Those at the bottom of the stairs collect themselves and their weapons, rub their heads and generally recover from being knocked down the stairs. A few more race past them, swapping bows for blades. The others fire up at Roderick. A lucky shot grazes his shoulder, the rest bounce and shatter on the stone rail or are too high or too wide to be a threat.
Rod, Toruk and your Guards and Aya...
