Ambush Tactics
Quick question here, who is manning the weapons in our Chimera?

Re: Ambush Tactics
I never really got a straight answer. We have 2 weapons, the Flamer and the Multi-laser.

Re: Ambush Tactics
I'm in the Turret, so I've got the Multi-Laser. The Flamer would have to be run by someone else. I don't have 'Flamer' proficiency, so I don't run it. If no one has Flamer proficiency, I guess a Comrade could run it?

Re: Ambush Tactics
I have a Gunner Comrade that can totally do the Flamer, which of course I'll post for, but I wasn't sure who was where for some reason.

Re: Ambush Tactics
Flamer: Correct. Cort's comrade can use it. Keep in mind that the range of the flamer is 6 sq.
Please also keep in mind that your lasguns have "variable setting": If you do not say anything, I will assume you use the "normal" setting. If you want to power up, you need to write it in your post. (Yeah, I am just tempting you to use up your ammo!
"M36 LASGUN
Produced in a multitude of different styles and patterns, the
lasgun can be found on almost every world of the Imperium.
The M36 pattern is one of the most ubiquitous patterns.
Lasgun Variable Setting: The M36 Lasgun has a variable
setting option, allowing it to fire higher-powered bursts. It
may be changed to overcharge mode, dealing +1 Damage,
but using two shots worth of ammunition per shot fired.
Further, the lasgun may be changed to overload mode,
dealing +2 Damage and gaining +2 Penetration. In this
case, the lasgun uses four shots of ammunition per shot
fired, loses Reliable, and gains Unreliable."

Re: Ambush Tactics
You might have noticed...
I'm very slow in posting to this. While you both (V and MWD) have been great and reliable posters, we have lost everyone else, and I feel I am losing interest. Also, I think vehicle combat like this has its limits in being very similar in each battle, everyone seems to do the same every round.
Would you mind ending the game? Tell me what you think.
BTW I thought the battle on the mountain on your last mission (first vs. the Dark Eldar, then vs. about 80 Stormtroopers in their base) was absolutely epic and great fun.
