Before the Pull: A Sad Heart

Cass can find no injuries on his person. He he killed himself on accident, his body does not show it. Maybe he was a ghost or a specter or something else. As Cass walks around, nothing is familiar.

<Maybe it's a dream?> Since he doesn't know which way is north, Cass chooses a random direction and starts walking. He's not in a hurry though, so he pays attention to the details of things around him.

As the half-elf starts walking around, in the distance, he spots something. He has to squint and really strain to figure out what he is looking at. It seems to be a wagon, led by two horses. He cannot see who is driving the cart, but they seem to be coming in his direction.

Cass steps aside and waits for the wagon to come closer enough for him to see the driver.

What is Cass carrying? Does he have his gear? Has he recovered his spells?

No to the spells, yes to everything else

Cass notices he has his gear, actually, that gear wasn't with him in the crow's cage. That is almost as odd as all this. The wagon gets closer and closer, and the two people in the front of the cart look elf-like, but it is hard to tell from this distance.

Cass waits for the wagon to come closer and greets the driver and passenger. Hello there!
