Welcome to the Lost East of Middle-earth

Far beyond the Sea of Rhun was another inland sea, the Sea of Helcar, and beyond that the range of Orocarni, the Red Mountains. Somewhere in the lost east, too, lay Cuivienen and Hildorien, where Elves and Men first awoke: all the Children of Iluvatar could trace their ancestries back to the eastward regions of Middle-earth.This Forum is for Work on the Rhun campaign setting for The One Ring RPG set in Middle-earth.

As I recall, the guy at Cubicle 7 seemed to hint it would be released in PDF at the end of this month.

Very good. I wonder how much longer "Oaths" will take after that. (I was hoping for those two to help with a FA campaign).

The Adventurer's Companion would be nice.

Including a whole wealth of advice, ideas and background for making your own hero and company, as well as new Heroic Cultures including Bree-folk, Riders of Rohan, Dwarves of the Blue Mountain, the Elves of Lorien and People of Gondor, a new Calling in the form of the Captain, and expanded rules for generational play.

I will say no, only for this reason. If my business reaches a point where I'm not so busy with it, I'll run a TOR game. No promises, but if I stay out of this mostly, it will make it more likely.

okay, feel free to chime in any time, even some part time help, or ideas on Fellowship Tasks, or cultural virtues, etc anything would be cool.

The hard part is deciding where to start

My suggestion of where to start (and happy to chime in when I can): Cultures. Start with ALREADY made cultures, and then make small tweaks.
I did this when I was taking the time to work on a First Age campaign...

Yeah, the key to pick some cultures to work on, a time frame for the date of the game, and then sort of the playable stuff. With nothing but some basic first age and second age info we have alot of room to build all sorts of cultures and such, which is the overwhelming part
