Ashes of the Forgotten: Remnants of a Life

Quickly working information into her terminal the receptionist hands Henry his identification back s she comms Uralsk, "Mr. Uralsk there is a gentleman here that wants to see you his name is Henry..." At the mention of the name Uralsk can be heard over the comm cutting off the receptionist, after turning the apparatus off the receptionists turns her attention back to Henry, "His office is in the 5th floor, number 5211." She hands you a visitor's pass and points towards an elevator in the far end of the lobby.

Without hesitation Henry gets into the elevator and goes up to the 5th floor, once the door opens a statuesque Salarian with a rugged scar across his face greets him. Uralsk looks at Henry and with a simple gesture signals for Henry to follow him, Henry joins him and they proceed to walk side by side, towards a very much high clearance looking area. Once Uralsk opens the door Henry steps into what turns out to be a small conference room. "Mr. Douglas, i apologize for the theatrics however discretion is of the utmost importance, i think that your best option to find what you are looking for would be the command center however entering the room would be impossible, i would recommend finding a way to tap the communication lines. What you do will be completely up to you and if caught you are completely on your own. I will try to assists you as much as possible, from a far. I'm guessing that you must have questions, this is the time to ask them, Mr Douglas."

Playing along with the walking about, Henry finally grinds to a halt behind the Salarian, and falls to parade rest. He was sure the Salarian would've removed audio recording from the room, but these buildings likely had video footage, so he did his best to keep his body language as that of Henry Matthews, even if his words were pure Douglas.

"What level of clearance have you assigned Corporal Matthews, and what does his duty rota for today include?"

The Salarian takes a seat behind a desk and offers Henry the seat in front of his with a hand gesture, as Henry sits Uralsk continues on. "You have been assigned the highest possible level given to a foreign emissary within the Salarian military ranks, which sadly is not enough to get you into the places that you will need to go to. I would highly recommend creating a distraction to draw the workers out of the 4th floor so that you can carry on in a safer manner, also please try not to blow up anything, i still have to work here after you leave." Uralsk places a key card on the desk, and slides it towards Henry with one finger. "This will give you access to the 4th floor from there on you are on your own. Is there anything else that you need answered before we part ways?"

Henry rolls his eyes, again the renowned Salarian fast talk, and not so fast thought was ruining his idea. He needed to have some more information to embrace the role and prepare some lies ahead of time in case he got stopped.

"Indeed, I do." He responds, speaking slower so as the extraterrestial might understand him,"Soldiers have duty rosters which specify what they're meant to be doing during the day. Have you assigned one for Corporal Matthews, or not?"

"Yes, you are assigned to a high level task within one of the smaller strategy rooms in the 5th floor, you are supposed to be there with a couple of lieutenants helping them build an anti piracy strategy, however they are fronts they will remain in the room and cover for you while you find the information that you need to find." Uralsk gives Henry a quizzical look that screams "did that answer your question?"

"Very well." Henry shrugs, he'd have prefered a more... mobile schedule so he could refer to it in the future, but it would just have to do. Nodding to the Salarian, he salutes, well aware he might be on camera and picking up the card heads out to the halls, doing a 'walk about' of as much of the building as he can in preparation for his task. He was most intent on isolating location of the generators or some computer paneling.

After the door closes Henry looks around the clinical white halls of the building, much to his surprise this floor is emptier than what he expected such a building to be. He takes a lap around the 5th floor taking mental notes of the elevators, emergency exits and stairwells, both of which he tried and found closed. The 5th floor consists mainly of offices for higher ranking officials, a couple listening hubs and a small control center dedicated to managing the local military.

The hallways are empty for the most part and key cards seem to not be required to enter rooms except for the listening hubs and the control room. A couple offices seem empty and open. Henry stands by the elevator as he decides where to go next.

Grimacing, Henry picks up the elevator to the 4th floor, aiming for a similar circle and looking for possible data panels he might be able to access with his omni-tool.

The elevator arrives with a happy little chime, Henry enters it and waits for the door to close, once it does he immediately checks the elevator for cameras, he finds one in the top right corner of it which he easily takes care of with his omni-tool, with the camera jammed, Henry investigates the panels, the control panel seems standard enough, however the button for the 4th floor requires a key card to be inserted in order to be pressed, opening the trap door on the elevator's ceiling, Henry finds the elevator's engine controls, they are protected, but the defenses seem crackable.

Smirking, Henry activates his omni-tool, and begins to hack the panel, attempting to isolate the keycode for the 4th floor. On the side as the ICEbreaker is running, he sees if he might be able to pull the 4th floor floor plans and power grid map as well to get an idea on what he was about to run into.
