Chapter 1: The Beginning of the End

[Olligarchy]

Suddenly turning to Jason, Olli does his best to appear a ten year old vaguely Asian girl.

"Why not both?" He notes with a slightly deranged smirk, as he rolls down the window to catch what Mike is saying, nodding at the choice. He was already wearing his seatbelt.

"Will let him barrel into them first, and if there's leftovers will see what we can do, eh?" He notes to Jason as he closes the window and makes sure all the doors are backlocked.

Chris buckles his seat belt, then engages the auto-lock mechanism, so that he is already tightly secured. He has one hand near the release latch, and another on the door.

Jason straps himself in and then helps the girl. "Hold on," he says. "Just don't get us stuck on a corpse."

He locks the door and makes sure the windows are up. "Fuck," he says to himself as they prepare for ramming speeds.

Mike throws the truck in reverse, honking the horn to try to get the attention of the zombies. It seems to do the trick as they begin moving toward the truck, much more quickly than you might hope. Meanwhile Ollie prepares to follow Mike through the gauntlet, taking out as many stragglers as possible.

The truck's engine growls as mike throws it into gear and floors the gas. Fortunately, he manages to get some speed built up before the first impact. The truck tears into the mass of bodies, knocking some aside, pulling others under the wheels. He plows a path through the thick of the mob, leaving a mangled wreck in his wake.

Out if the initial group of perhaps 50, there appear to be only about 12 standing.

Olli watches as Mike's plan works better than he expected. He likewise floors the gas pedal but tries to be more precise as he attempts to take out as many of the remaining zombies as he can.

The sedan slams into one of the standing zombies throwing it to the side like a rag doll, then Olli adjusts the wheel to strike another. bu the time he reaches Mike, only 4 zombies remain standing, while quite a few others seem to be thrashing about on the ground unable to stand.

It is about 40 feet from where the vehicles are to where the guns and military tents are. There are 4 zombies left standing between you and the supplies.

"Well that went better than expected." Olli notes, tilting his head and considering should they attempt to floor over the remaining four zombies, or take their chances in melee. His experiences beforehand had not been pleasant, what with the man taking multiple gunshots in supposedly lethal locations and continuing on.

"Hang on for a second bout." He notes to Jason and the girl, revving the engine a bit to let Mike know he's willing to take the lead this time.

"You might as well try to shoot at the same time," says Chris, "So long as we are not in range." Knowing he and Mike were in front of Olli and the others, he figured not firing from behind might be a good idea.

"Might as well," Jason says, seeing them run over the bulk of zombies, what was four more?

He makes sure the girl is buckled up.

Olli guns the engine and aims the car at the remaining standing zombies. He gets a sick pleasure from the soft thumping of the tires rolling over their bodies. On this pass, he hits 3 of the remaining 4. The fourth moves toward the car as he comes to a halt. Olli raises the gun and fires at the approaching creature.

The first shot hits the approaching woman in the chest. She jerks at the impact but within seconds is moving again at the car. Jason empties the clip, landing 3 more shots, one more in the chest, one in the neck, and the final shot impacting just below her left eye. She collapses on the ground twitching in death.

For now, the area around the car is clear of any standing zombies. Several of the wounded are moving on the ground. You cannot say for certain how long they will remain down, but for now, you have an opportunity to grab weapons and whatever supplies you can.

"Alright Jessica." Olli notes, using the girls name to try and calm her down,"Uncles Olli and Jason Statham here are going to take a bit of a gander at the gear around here. Stay in the car, keep the doors closed and wait for us, eh?"

Opening the door with enough force to slam it into one Zombies face, Olli moves through the mess gingerly, looking for anything useful like medicine, weapons or canned goodies.

Chris jumps out and begins looking for weapons, cell phones, and anything else that might be of use, like a swiss army knife or other tools. "Guys, do you think it could be worth it to search for another vehicle to use? I don't know how much gas our cars have."
