The Ring is a fantasy setting begun by me, Tet.
I'm looking for others to help me with the creation of the setting and so I've created this forum.
Just so everyone knows, I'm the final say and all that, but I'm really looking for ideas on how to build things thing.
Here's a brief synopsis of what I'm thinking so far.
The Ring is a flat, circular land where the edge of the world drops off into a deep chasm where the bottom cannot be seen. There are four very small land bridges that are incredibly narrow (an inch or two). No one has crossed them and ever returned.
The Ring has sections of generally similar types of climates, even though parts of the ring are further away than other rings. You might be 10 miles from another ring, but the temeprature and climate begins to change there, wheresa you can walk in a circular manner 200 miles and the climate is similar to your starting point.
Something rests in the center of the Ring, but what it is is conjecture. Some claim to have been there. Rumors spread about evil.
