System

The game needs a system to run it. I'm not intending to create a whole new system for the game, so I'll use something else and edit as necessary.

Potential Systems:

GURPS 4E

- Pros: Highly versitle and point buy.
- Cons: Can be complex depending on the amount of rules we use. Universally hate on this webpage.

Chronicle

- Pros: Easy to learn. I know it very well. Point buy.
- Cons: Significant power creep at when keeping 5 dice in an offensive roll. Fairly confined to ASOIAF theme.

Keltia/Yggdrasill System

- Pros: Fairly easy to learn. Good for low magic theme.
- Cons: TN 14 seems an easy TN to hit. Combat can drag on.

Besides any d20 based system, I'm up for suggestions.

Tell us what you expect to see encountered and/or happening in game. It might help to derive a system. i.e. combat heavy, racial diversity, skill oriented, attribute heavy, etc.

Could be a lot of things. I think combat will be important, but so will using deception, knowledge, etc. Overt magic used by players will be very rare.
