I have to wonder why this colony company of mostly humans would hire on a snake riding merfolk to settle their new land. And here I thought the Mordant Spire Elf was going to be hard to explain.

I want to know what Tide is going to do when Hiss inevitably gets killed in combat (as seems to be the fate of animal companions).

Izrazael will accidentally kill Hiss and cook him up thinking he was a random critter suitable for eating.

Of course, what is Izrazael going to do when he finds out that two of the PCs have as their goals to acquire the very artifacts that he wants to keep out of their hands?

Maybe that's why he killed Hiss "by accident."

Looking up the Mordant Spire Elf entry was how I found out about that Merfolk community in the first place. Hell, maybe your character was how I got connected to the Party.
