Chapter 2: Endless Thredony
Jalesh, let's out a hearty "Oh Fuck!" when the siren's start blaring, "let's get the hell out of here before we end up like the crew of this bucket." With that Jalesh tightens the grip on his rifle and starts to make his way back to the ship.

Keskodai exhales sharply as he beats feet for the exit.
"Ah well. Everything can't be easy."

Chapter 2: Endless Thredony
The trio rush out of the bridge, the claxon continuing its droning wail. They backtrack the same way they came in, along the safest route known. The leaking necromantic energy is still gone, removed by Quig. But as they approach, two panels in the ceiling move aside, and matching turrets descend into a firing position. The one on the right sparks and whines. Even from the distance, it is clear that the mechanism was damaged the battle. The turret on the left, however, seems to be in serviceable condition. Its optical sensors start to track you, and the turret begins to spin up in preparation to fire.

Chapter 2: Endless Thredony
When Jalesh hears the automatic turret coming to life he give the area a quick scan and does his best to find cover, once secured he looks at Quig and asks "Do you think you can hack that thing? I might be able to shoot it down, but that will probably put us in a much worse position that the one that we are currently in."

Chapter 2: Endless Thredony
"No time to hack! No terminal! Run or gun!" He's drawing his pistol and diving for any cover. Not so sure they can find a better escape route, or have the time with the alarm going off he fires at it!

Nothing Keskodai carries would be an effective threat against the ceiling gun. Instead, with a prayer to the Mother of Graves, rushes forward past the turrets.

Chapter 2: Endless Thredony
The mercenaries stand their ground, not about to be ran off by a single automated defense. The turret is bulky and stationary, making it an easy target. The cleric of the Goddess of Prophecy gives a blessing to the mechanic, guiding his aim. Quig makes good use of the touch of prophecy, his pistol blasting off an armor panel of the machine. Jalesh lets off a blast from what could technically be called a hand cannon, at least it would be in the hands of a member of a smaller race. The rifle takes off more armor, exposing the circuitry and mechanisms beneath.
The undead, mindless as some of them may be, make solidly engineered ships. Despite the excellently concentrated fire, the whine of the turret reaches a peak, and a controlled burst of shells paint the corridor with bright flashes. Quig and Keskodai manage to dodge out of the way, but Jalesh has a lot of mass to move. The shields built into his armor hold firm for the vast majority of the shells, but the light flickers and dies at the end, and one of the bullets makes a light furrow through the flesh of his ribs. He's bleeding, and it will take some time for his defenses to charge again.

"Keep shooting, hit the wires! Blow its power!" He drops to the ground, laying on his belly to make himself as small of a target as possible. He aims and fires again shooting as many rounds off as possible as the turret spins back up again.
